![]() ![]() Since the summer of 2020, KMUW has led an effort to collect, digitize and preserve audio and video materials from across Kansas. The Barton School is excited to offer the campus community an opportunity to meet Erin Cummings, learn about her journey and explore her thoughts on how to create what’s possible. The kickoff event will feature a fireside chat by Cummings titled “Moving With Purpose and Unlocking Possibilities” and will be followed by a book signing opportunity for attendees along with a networking reception. “The Possibility Project” is an evolution of a vision and goals workshop Cummings created for YESyoga, which offers specific prompts, honest questions, motivating statements and a simplistic, calming design to help readers who are “drowning under the weight of the promise of having it all.” The journal then guides readers to discover what they truly value and create what’s possible through productivity, creativity, movement and purpose. Thursday, April 27 in the Woolsey Hall auditorium. The event will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Frank Barton School of Business graduate, president of the Barton School’s Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board and owner of YESyoga - will hold a launch event for her first published work, “The Possibility Project: A Guided Journal for Creating What’s Possible,” at Wichita State. And it also features a crew of WSU filmmaking students, including Mason Love, Ashlynn Farney, David Maher, Lainey Caldwell, Alyssa Pfeifer, Luke Schroeder, Molly Bazar, Triston Noler, Garrison Ummel, Jonathan Stanger, Jordan Devoy, Madalynn Wilson, Zachary McGuire, Zakary Aaron, Sofia Witt, Pablo Prado, Alicia Santos, Gregory Vieyra. Student Writers: Jesse Nightingale, Jillian Terrell, and Tina Truong. Student Directors: Mason Vietti, Jesse Nightingale.Įrin Cummings - a W. The film features a cast of WSU student actors, including Carson Ediger, Emily Redfield, Ella Kempker, Drew Thomas, Renae Richmond, Steven Soetjoadi, Hayley Longacre, Ian Moore, Jo Smith, Ashley Grega, Morgan Holcomb and Trevor Andreason. Three of the scripts were written by WSU Filmmaking students with the fourth being written by Jones. It is a collaborative project between the theatre and filmmaking departments. WSU’s Theatre Program produced “Compendium: as part of its season this year. The show was produced by Bret Jones, theatre professor and program coordinator of acting for digital arts. Tickets are available for $10, and students with a Shocker ID can get in at no additional charge. Each short film is set in an imagined world “where time and space collide into the uncertain threads of the future.” Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 in Welsbacher Theatre. The Wichita State School of Performing Arts presents, “Compendium,” an anthology with four short films making up the bill at 7:30 p.m.
